The American University of Malta (AUM) campus project involved the restoration and transformation of a historic waterfront building into a state-of-the-art educational facility. Valda Group delivered the complete façade and glazing package, combining modern engineering with heritage-sensitive design. The scope included oversized curtain walls, custom aluminium systems, and solar-control glazing — all designed to meet strict coastal performance requirements. In addition, the installed systems were engineered for high fire resistance and enhanced security, in line with the university’s safety and institutional standards. This landmark project showcases the successful integration of historical restoration with modern façade technology.
